The cover seems to be good for the price that I’m paying, but with all insurance the proof of the pudding is in the claiming. Getting the correct photo of the phone to get the cover verified was a bit of a pain. You need to have another device to hand to photograph your device and the restrictions are quite strict. They should make this more clear and put it earlier in the process i.e. before they’ve taken all of your financial details. Something like “You will need ANOTHER phone/tablet to photograph your phone, and you should take the photo in good light on a white sheet of paper. Remove all cases AND screen protectors from your phone before taking picture”

I've been with Loveit for 5 years. I had my iPad stolen whilst it was in cover and within view. And they had rejected my claim. They will only pay out if you have had your car, home or locker broken into. Customer service was utterly heartless and unable to make nuanced judgements. I recommend covering your device elsewhere.

Sadly I found the sign-up process a nightmare. It wasn't until you took out the policy that you were asked for a photo of your device - so if you're someone that lives alone, this was really difficult to get! I think I had to submit about 5 versions before it was accepted, as it kept being declined saying the lighting was poor... but you also weren't allowed glare on your phone, so this felt nigh on impossible to get. I tried one last time and I would've gone to a more expensive alternative had it not been accepted. I don't think the sign-up process has considered what an awful customer experience it is for someone that lives alone, that uses the device they're insuring for their camera. I would suspect this loses a lot of business.

Can't comment on the claim process as I hope to never need it! But if I do, I pray this has been better thought through.
