I needed to undertake some measuring of internal spaces across our estate and having obtained CAD files for the properties in question, I was in need of some quick training in the basics of AutoCAD to enable me to secure the information I needed. A teams meeting was arranged with Giles Warhurst and across the space of approximately 20 minutes I was shown how to manipulate layers, draw a basic polyline and measure simple and complex areas. It only took a few minutes but with that support I'm now able to obtain the information I require for any property that I have a drawing of. All achieved very smoothly, with the offer of further support should it be required.
