I was unfortunate enough to be involved in a single vehicle road traffic collision at the beginning of the year in January, and put in a claim with these marvelous, helpful, efficient, honest and professional people. The service was quick and consistent: made the claim in January and they reached a solution just yesterday - quick and efficient right? It's only taken over 4 months - amazing! They provided me with updates when they said they would and always kept me in the loop on the progress of my claim , would recommend this company to anyone..... Yeah, right.

In case you hadn't noticed I'm being incredibly sarcastic.

This company is a bag of s**t. They lie to you, give you false information, accuse you of not sending in legitimate documents, they don't communicate with you - I could go on forever! Their service is not consistent, they don't tell you what is happening and they are rude over the phone. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. If you are looking for GAP insurance, go elsewhere. I'll also be making a recommendation to the dealership that supplied the car to me to re-consider who they use to provide their GAP insurance.

Absolutely shocking.

Bought GAP insurance through PSA Finance, never again!!! Takes over 40 minutes every phone call to get through to speak to someone and they ask for something different every time. Just stalling the payment of a claim. Requested my bank details to make payment then it gets passed to another team to be dealt with in "due course". Still waiting for payout from an October claim. Having to use my own cash to buy another car as they haven't paid out the settlement which I would sold in good faith that it would be sorted quickly if I ever have a vehicle written off. Check your insurance policy when you take out GAP insurance, do not use!

Bought gap insurance from dealer who said this would cover my car for whole length of finance. As went to make claim and was told they wouldn't pay out as insurance was finished last year.
DON'T TRUST THIS COWBOYS AS THEY WANT YOUR MONEY BUT DON'T WANT TO PAY OUT.

At the beginning the man how give me all this insurances was told me , take all the insurances with as and if you don't use them at the end of period call them and cancel all and you will pay 20 £ each for cancellation.
This was the only reason i take those insurances .
I know i should make any of them because always they found something not to cover your problems . So i have to pay 1000++ + from my own money to the reaches man because they lied me , then buying something for my beautiful family I have 3 children and they are all small and another one on the way! Thank you for your Christmas gift for them! 😐😐🙄🙄🙄🙄

Absolutely appalling company. Still using the “Covid” cop-out for not answering there phones or emails. Happy enough to take £40 per month from your account for gap insurance (which is terrible value btw), but not willing to escalate any urgency to emails or phone calls. I have called 5 times, all took over 30 minutes of waiting just to be cut off. Emails just get responded with an auto reply. I am trying to cancel my expensive policy within the 10-14 day cooling off period, these clowns are clearly trying to drag it out so I miss the cooling off period! Not going to happen and I will escalate further

I tried to get a refund since 01/05/2021 as I sold my vehicle half way through the contract sent a few emails no response to any of them , so just take your money and ignore. Very poor service never had a problem before but now just don't care.

I don't want to give ANY star rating at all to this company. Mapfre Abraxus, whose Gap Policy insurance was sold to me by BMW, is the worst company I've ever dealt with, and that's saying some! They're rude to the point of insulting, hang up on you, don't reply to phone calls, ever, and take longer than any other insurance company to resolve anything. I was burgled, so haven't just lost my car, but a lot of household possessions, jewellery, bike, laptops etc, and all the other insurance companies behave reasonably quickly. In comparison, this company should be struck off.

Now in the 10th month of my claim!!! Shockingly poor service, and sick of the revolving door of "This may take up to 20 working days but your Claims Assessor will be in contact as soon as they have had a chance to review. Unfortunately we are currently experiencing high claim volumes ." emails as a response to every single enquiry!
