Avoid this company at all cost , spoke to BG insurance told them I've moved houses and she had updated my address on the system , received a text message 2 weeks later to say my policy is getting cancelled 2 weeks earlier then the original date , was told the reason was I owe them £15 administration charge for moving houses ? I called them up and told them the advisor I had first spoken to did not mention there would be any chargers for moving houses , they said we tried to call you but I advised them I always receive scam calls so how would I know it was BG insurance calling me , they didn't bother to email me , text me or write to me so they decided to wack me with a £15 charge even though their advisor didn't do her job properly and inform me that there would be a charge , their excuse was because the car has moved to a different addresss and the insurance premium price is according to the area which I understand but I specifically advised the advisor when I first called up that my vehicle is still at the same address where I was registered before on the driveway so there's no reason for an extra charge. Spoke to Emma head of complaints, she said she would listen to the call but when I asked if in that call recording it shows your colleague did not mention anything about an administration charge would you credit the £15 back to me , she tried her best not to say "yes" instead she came up with 20 other excuses so meaning no matter what the outcome I'm not getting £15 credit back , would not recommend this company and would highly advise everyone else to go elsewhere
