I have used this jeweller for 3 years for my antique clock repairs and replacement of batteries and found them to be very helpful in guiding me to make informed decisions for what has been best for the item I have needed to be repaired. They are always polite and friendly and above all very knowledgeable and professional.

We've been using Michael Maurice for years for repairs and batteries and I always recommend them to people. They're so friendly and knowledgeable and it always seems like nothing is too much trouble. It's harder to find local expertise of this standard these days so I'm really grateful for their help!

The woman has zero social skills & customer care.
She refused to listen, rolled her eyes, muttered (I assume obscenities) under her breath& walked away while I was calmly asking her for help to resolve the issue.
The issue was a pair of £85 sleeper earrings that bent the first time I put them in. I slept in them to save making them worse, but had to take them out to wash my hair. I put them in 5 times before the gold bar that goes through the ear fell off the earring.
She said I shouldn’t have slept in them, it was my fault and she didn’t sell them in that condition!
I offered a series of comprises- credit note, some money back, a replacement pair (incase it was a rogue poor quality pair). I asked for us to try and resolve it as the earrings weren’t fit for purpose.
Her only advice was I could buy another pair with £20 off or go to trading standards as they don’t have a returns policy..!
I even asked for the £20 back but she’d stropped off to her office.
So rude & refused point blank to help with her poor quality earrings which literally bent the first time I put them in.

I have used this jewellers for years. They repaired a vety old chiming wall clock. It gave it a completely new life, and I have many repairs of gold jewellery done here and always take my watches here to have new batteries. Very friendly and good value.

I’ve used them a few times, for a watch battery a necklace repair and most recently a vintage cameo ring repair. Excellent service and I couldn’t be happier. I don’t go anywhere else

I have recently had a very old watch restored and the service I received was excellent from discussing what needed to be done and the end result with excellent help from Debbie.
Nothing is too much trouble,I wouldn’t go anywhere else
