During the MOT inspection, they discovered a significant issue with my F Pace that, ironically, wasn't even related to the MOT itself.
Paul took the time to thoroughly explain the problem and even showed me what was wrong. He was able to find a replacement part, which they installed today, saving me a substantial amount of money. I can't praise their service enough; they truly stand out as a top-notch garage.

Paul took under his wings my XF. Very happy with his professional approach. That was my third visit to this garage and now I'm convinced that this place is worth of traveling for over an hour to get the car properly fixed for a reasonable price.

I broke down in my D4 Discovery Landmark 16 plate, engine lost power and stopped working. I paid Mike Allen to come and collect the vehicle and work out what was wrong. They told me that the engine had seized and I needed a brand new engine. After getting quotes I was told 12k.

Mike Allen then harassed me to get the car moved from their garage because it was taking up space thst they had to pay for.

Because I couldn't afford the fix, I sold my vehicle for 4k to some local LR repair mechanics. They managed to get the car going in a day, and told me a week later it was a £500 cam belt fix. Not an engine failure.

As a result of Mike Allen's assessment, and taking their word for what was wrong, a car that could've been fixed for £500, was sold for 4k as scrap. I bought the car for £37k originally, vehicle would've been worth 20k if running. So effectively I lost over 15k as a result of the bad diagnosis.

Angry is an understatement.

Little bit late with this review (and assuming I’m remembering right) but about 35 years ago I pulled up in my Renault 18 (first car) that was misfiring. Mike opened the bonnet stuck a really long screwdriver down a plug hole, fiddled a bit then said there you are, off you go, no charge. No idea what he did but top bloke and here’s a well deserved and hopefully still relevant review.
