John Hutchings at Mortgage First has been fantastic throughout our mortgage process, very attentive and professional, always keeping us informed of progress. Every step was explained in laymen's terms and he maintained regular contact with a friendly, personable and approachable manner. John went above and beyond to keep things on track for us. Our first house fell through when the vendor pulled out and John was quick to liaise with our mortgage provider and organise a switch over to our next house purchase helping to alleviate some of the stress. Would highly recommend John to anyone needing mortgage services, he's simply the best! If there were 10 stars we would give it.

I found Mortgage First to be responsive, friendly and very affordable and as such would not hesitate to recommend their services. John looked after us every step of the way, from initial contact to follow up after the mortgage was in place, he stayed close and answered promptly our questions and calls.
Being the MD of an SME, which has some very intricate and unusual practices, I was concerned I’d need to use a specialist provider. John swept aside all concerns with a calm and relaxed manner, promptly placing my business with a High Street lender. I don’t think it was as easy as he made it seem, but that’s what makes using Mortgage First Exeter so appealing – it was easy.
