Beware of the £55 admin fee. They are a broker with no phone lines, merely a chat option which takes forever. It’s worth shopping elsewhere.
As another contributor has said I also tried to cancel the policy before it began but was unable to do so.
They even threatened me with a bad credit rating.
I’m not going to the Financial Ombudsman.
Please do not use them. They do not deserve your custom.

Scammers, don't go with Motor -Vision insurance.
Read the reviews, the fine prints and the generic responses to reviews first,
Customer care is useless, however I am looking forward to having my very own generic response from Jess.
They dont care about the client.. Just bully you to gain money for their own pockets..

I'm not surprised that whilst talking on the online portal I was cut off and disconnected over and over again as they didn't want to/ couldn't answer my questions.

Insurance companies like this should be shut down.

Come on then Jess (If thats even your name), copy and paste your response.

Took my money and said that they don't insure my car at a secured unit 4 roads away from my home which is ridiculous! Did input my home address and unit address where car is kept they said that I said car was kept in garage at home! I live in London in a terrace house where very rarely you get a house with a garage! They only refunded me half my money back! So I'm out of pocket now ! And it's December! So double check everything please! I would use these people again!

I had motor-vision insurance from 2023- 2024, I made sure to cancel the automatic renewal, I asked them and a few others for quotes, I chose another which offered more cover at a cheaper price.
Motor-vision kept emailing me with "thanks for renewing your insurance" I did not authorise a renewal, all correspondence was "no reply" you can chat to a robot with a small list of options, eventually I had no choice but to click cancel insurance, this was 9 days after they decided to renew my insurance, it only gave me that days option to cancel, I did that as it went on long enough, even after cancelling the direct debit between ourselves, motor-vision still took money out of my account, though I immediately got the bank to revert payment, I'm still getting emails to say I owe them money, for insurance I didn't agree to. If you are considering insuring with Motor-vision, my advice is - RUN

Would give 0 stars or lower if possible. Paid fee to get out of policy before it even began.

People on phone have no idea what they talking about if you can even get through.

Very unprofessional. Company unable to correctly process documents provided by previous insurers. It would seem the company lured prospective customers in with cheaper rates then act so unprofessionally that leaves you with no option but to cancel at a cost.

Avoid using the company and affiliates even if via comparison sites

So far so good, applying for the insurance was painless, and the Customer Service was excellent. As the actual Insurance does not start until 13.09.24 I cannot say if this company warrant 5 ✨. Watch this space for update.
