What a great response! It's the real measure of insurance when you need them, not if you can get your insurance a couple of pounds cheaper. Following a storm we needed to make a claim, the assessor was at our Caravan the next day, no messing around with many quotes, a rapid assessment of the damage and quote provided and then getting on with the job. Other vans adjacent to us hadn't even been assessed via other providers. Totally recommended.

Been with them for two years with no claim. Unfortunatly boiler was condemed and we had to replace it at a cost of £1600. We were lucky to be able to replace boiler before trying to claim some people are not. We tried to claim off insurance they said up to £500 towards the cost of a new one. After paying for a new boiler with cash they wanted proof of payment which we sent invoice signed from engineer who fitted boiler and bank statements clearly showing transactions. While claim still going through we were contacted to renew NOT!!!. We are still waiting to hear from the company they deal with for home emergency ARC legal and Davis Group they are a total waste of time take your money and run. Will definatly not be using them ever again and we will definatly not recomend to others

This company have been great for 5 years whilst taking my money off me but the first sign of a claim and they run for the hills.
During bad weather three vans (ours and two others) all suffered water damage with rainwater breaching the boiler flue and killing the electrics in the boiler. Horrendous horizontal rain in Wales saw many with problems but these three were exactly the same conditions and in each case unrepairable.

Outcome?
Van above me = fully insured with different insurer
Van below me = fully insured with different insurer
My holiday home ..... with My Holiday Home insurance?

well ... that strangely is not insured since they treat boilers differently. It seems that had water have damaged any other appliance or item within the van then it would have been fully covered, the kettle, the dishwasher, the fridge, all covered - but not the boiler.

After a fight they have given me 25% of the cost to replace it. Both of the other home owners received full compensation.
Warning : - in taking out extra boiler cover with My Holiday Home it seemed to reduce my overall protection.
I am now in the process of switching insurance companies.

Wasted a lot of time only to be told they couldn't offer me cover,reason! I hadn't had cover. for 18 months, before that I had cover with the same agent for 25 years n never had a claim.their loss not mine just a waste of time

Not helpful at all after being with them for 1yr gound out they dnt cover flood for area Caravan is sited so wnt be renewing asked why not we fnt co er that area as yet

Avoid at all costs !!
Claim to be upfront and transparent but I have found them to be the complete opposite, I would advise you spend your hard earned money with a company who will explain exactly what you are getting.

Don't bother with them if your holiday home hasn't got lockable windows - they won't insure you. BUT they only tell you this once they've taken all your personal details and wasted time...
