Customer service appalling towards women!!
Numerous occasions where they’ve made myself and another customer (a woman) have felt not listened to or felt that it was hard work to be spoken to, the garage is full of male staff I’ve not seen one female worker there!! Compassion or shall I say lacks in empathy, letting my daughter and my puppy stand outside in the cold and rain whilst checking the car over (after bringing round the Curtesy car that’s parked next to the car i brought in for a service) he carried on checking over the car inside and out and then moved it round to the back where the workshop is, he then came into the shop for me to go inside to sign paperwork and before handing me the Keys to the curtesy car so I can let me young daughter and my puppy in the car, I had to ask for my daughter and my puppy to get in the car out of the cold and rain as it was not fair. I never got an apology all I got was a bunch of men looking over at me when I complained, personally the checks could of been done afterwords, was it too much trouble to just say that children/pets can get in the car out of cold and rain before hand. Avoid if you're a motorbilty customer don't want to deal with it took 3 months for my car to be fixed only for them to do a bodge job and cause massive engine damage! Due to the length of not having our car back we spent a month without one also after the first repairs something wasn't sealed back up correct causing the oli leak

Although our visit was to intentionally view the current Citroen range, we discovered that Louth now only service this manufacturer and their sales activity is no longer Citroen.
That said, the people in the dealership were very polite and courteous, which we appreciated very much.
I get the impression they do offer personal service, which in 2024 is sadly lacking in the motor trade.

I had to take my year old MG into the garage for its first service and a small adjustment to the radio system. The service offered to me was great, coffee and a comfortable chair whilst I wait. The car was completed in its required work earlier than expected pleasing me and giving me the extra time I needed. It's nice to go to a motor garage and get the service you need without the hassle of waiting around for ages or having to return at a later date because the parts aren't available to complete their task. Great work Shaws.

Asked for work to be authorised first, extra £30 bill when I came to pay, to get authorisation I was sat up stairs. They said they were trying to get it on warranty but not able so £30, tell me it might be £30 and then if it does come under warranty great. This was unauthorised work not happy.
