Slow communication. Automated replies that are not clear. Bullying emails and messages. Stay away.
Update - after four weeks they haven't responded to my emails asking for an update on my refund. They have instead decided to employ a debt collection service to come after me for £35 for cancelling my policy. I no longer own the car. If NCI had any customer service, they would have clearly explained to me that i should just keep the policy going or i would get charged. Contacting the ombudsman and i will update again.

This insurance company will charge extra 30 pounds if payment is miss and the bank too charge miss payment. Stay away from them they are nothing but usless .At the end of the 12 months. I moved away from them to a better insurance company. This shameful insurance company said they automatically renewed my insurance therefore l must pay the £177 pounds. Stay away from this scammed insurance company if you want peace of mind

Needed to renew my policy and NCI were cheaper than anyone else, especially the on line comparison sites, really pleased with their service. Got to admit had initial problems when insuring with the last year but they were quickly resolved

I took out car insurance last year with NCI after seeing a recommendation on the MSE website. I did not have a good experience with them: they really sock it to you with extra charges if you ask to make any changes to your policy and I found the staff to be quite rude and unhelpful.

Policy is fine but customer service falls short. Interminable waits on the phone and incorrect documentation and certificates plague them in my experience. 14 days after emailing on a policy mistake and following up on emails and phone all with no response-JUST NOT GOOD ENOUGH

Great service, very helpful, got me a great deal on my car insurance. Wouldn't go anywhere else as after an accident a good few years back they took care of everything for me and i can’t praise them highly enough. Thank you NCI, you and your staff are amazing, 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
