The most important part when you pay for insurance is that they pay out if you have a disaster which from what I have heard the NFU do. We have had minor claims over the years and it has always been uncomplicated and not too much hassle.

It is always a pleasure dealing with the NFU unlike so many other similar businesses who just see you as a number. I think the franchise system they use probably helps this, plus I like the fact they are a mutual, and are not run purely for the benefit of uninvolved shareholders.
