Excellent friendly staff. The local office, with staff that know their customers as real people, and not a computer number, is something lacking with other companies. NFU are providing a service that has been lost in so many places. The staff are extremely helpful.

My husband and I had the pleasure of dealing with Sue Mitchell at NFU Mutual. We were in a bit of a tricky spot in relation to purchasing a new property and we were down to the wire in terms of timing. Sue went out of her way to help us, and provided a fantastic service. We had every confidence that we would be able to exchange on time, and Sue was excellent at communicating updates to us. Given the stress associated with purchasing a property (for us, for the first time as well), the insurance side of things was made as simple as possible, as Sue talked us through everything very clearly and made the process as straightforward as possible. Just to say thank you to the team at NFU St Albans. Alex, Dawn and Taylor were exceptional and helped me along the way. Would highly recommend them as Dawn was amazing when dealing with the horse insurance and Taylor was honest with home insurance. Kudos to the whole team

All the staff I speak to at my NFU Office in Harpenden and St Albans are freindly, helpful and most importantly, human. I don't have cause to speak to them often but when I do they always know who I am which makes it a very personal service.
The recent claim I made was dealt with in record time and I feel fortunate and relieved to have my belongings insured by the NFU.

Have dealt with NFU for many years now and have always found them to be extremely professional and helpful. Had an insurance claim for a flood and their emergency people were excellent and everything was dealt with quickly and efficiently. Have recently asked for some financial advice and found that to be very professional too.

I have been a client of NFU Mutual St Albans for over 20 years, during which time I've had to make a few claims. They have invariably been handled quickly and efficiently - last time the money was in my bank account within days of my loss - and the people in the office are charming and human. No "computer says no" there ! I'm not surprised NFU Mutual constantly come top of the Which? surveys. The only downside it that there's a lot of actual paper, but it seems to ensure that nothing goes wrong. There's an annual review which is always helpful as well as totally organised and professional. Can't rate then highly enough.
