I spoke with Miranda, mid July, as my car insurance was up for renewal at the end of the month and the RAC (who I was with), wanted an extortionate renewal fee. Anyway, my father, Keith, had already spoken with Miranda a few months back and had said about how cheap they were compared to most. So I thought I would give them a try. Well, I'm glad I did! They were so much cheaper than what I was being quoted at compared to websites such as compare the market etc. Not only being cheaper but you also get to speak with a real person. But Miranda isn't just an ordinary person, her customer service skills are above and beyond. Nothing was too much trouble, she was happy and cheery and actually we had a lovely conversation. Just what you would like and not a monotonous person that is reading from a script. She even went to the effort of promising to give me a call on a day that I specified, to go ahead with the insurance and get it set-up for me.

So, Miranda, if you are reading this, thank you very much for your time and effort, your company are lucky to have such a wonderful team member working for them.

NFU are outstanding in customer service, including out of hours coverage. We all know about premium rises this year but NFU are still very competitive. (And that’s not mentioning the Mutual Bonus discount). Thoroughly recommend them to anyone who’s interested.

We recently needed advice about one of our NFU insurance policies. On phoning up, I was put through to an advisor, Stefanie Ceylan who was extremely helpful & sorted out my problem immediately. We have used the NFU for over 40 years, & although not the cheapest, certainly are excellent whenever help is needed.
