The sling library has been so helpful and I would highly recommend, both Becky and the peer supporters are friendly and knowledgeable. I have sought help with a stretchy wrap for my newborn (provided free for a period of time for babies under a certain age) and since returned for a fit check on my new carrier. Becky was absolutely brilliant and so knowledgeable - she made the whole sling purchase so straightforward. Before booking in to see Becky, I felt really overwhelmed by all the options available on the internet and was worried about making the wrong decision and buying something which would be uncomfortable for my little girl and me. As parents to be, we were looking for a sling wrap, but didn't know which type will suits us best. So went for a demonstration with Becky in Burton Latimer. Becky was amazing explaining everything and we even had the opportunity to try, so we really could see which one we will prefer.

Had an amazing experience with Becky from the sling library! I bought a carrier but found it really uncomfortable. At first I thought that meant baby wearing wasn’t for us, but Becky helped me find a carrier that is so comfy I’ve been wearing my baby loads. We were also able to rent it from her for a few weeks to make sure it really was the one for us, and once we bought our own we had another session so that everyone in the family could get comfortable using it. I’d really recommend her and the library!

I used the sling library over six years ago when I was pregnant with my first son. I was a very nervous sling user then but gradually gained confidence with the support of the lovely consultants. It was so helpful to be able to try a variety of different slings and to be able to hire them and change as we wanted over the time we carried him. More recently with my second son, I needed a refresher so booked a home consultation with Becky. I have to say she explained everything so clearly and it was really reassuring for both hubby and I that we were using the sling correctly and safely. Since then I have also been to a social session and hired some cloth nappies and again can not fault the experience. I would recommend the sling library to any parents of little ones.
