I had a really nice experience with Novo Insurance. My car had to go in the garage for repairs, they have done everything for me, I didn't have to do anything at all. Very contactable, emails/phone calls were replied to straight away. I had updates on the parts for my car and possible repair dates every couple of days and didn't have to worry about anything. I will 100% recommend!

Used novo for an incident while my car was parked and got hit into. They influenced me into using their approved body shop. 3.5 years later the car is now rusting from where the Bodyshop has done an inadequate job of sealing the newly fitted wing. The Bodyshop has now changed hands so know one there can help as it’s a different staff. Taking it to local Bodyshop’s which have advised that the job was not done properly. When contacting novo they weren’t interested in helping and basically said not our problem.

What can I say about Novo?

My first experience was as a non-customer. Someone recessed into my mother's car that i had driven any was parked up in. Despite the admission of guilt (we were parked!), My mother's insurance didn't want to know as she wasn't driving it, and mine refused to do anything since I'm insured for damage I caused. And the other party's broker refused to discuss with me cos of data protection. After 2 days of messing around on the phone with call centres, I called Novo. Within the hour they got the admission of fault, and arranged for my mother's car to be collected & repaired, and a courtesy car supplied.

The second time someone hit my sister's parked car and attempted to do a runner. I got my phone on record and confronted them at which point they attempted to explain the incident away and refused to supply their details. I sent the footage to Novo, they handled the rest.

Finally, with my own car, someone reversed into me. Fortunately my dashcam caught exactly what happened. This was on a Saturday evening. One call to Novo, and by Monday afternoon my car was collected and an identical courtesy car supplied.

Can't fault them at all for service, which is why I renew with them, despite others being cheaper. They take away all the hassle.

I have never experienced 5* personal customer service from an insurance company like this ever. When I call I am recognised immediately - and not because I’ve made a claim as I haven’t - and always get to speak with my own personal adviser. The cover specifications are very comprehensive and give total peace of mind. I know very many customers of Novo and their reputation is outstanding.
