I will start by telling you why I went for Orchid;
There are many CP courses out there; all will say they do the best course run by ex UKSF (UK Special Forces), and of course they are. They rate how good they are by how kinetic and Gun ho they can be in preparing you for Hostile environments. The real CP world is much broader, and with the attacks in France and wider Europe CP is getting closer to home.
Orchid is the only one I found the offers both Corporate and hostile environment; instructed by people (UKSF and Civil Police) with many years experience in the Military environment and Civil, Police roll. They have worked for members of parliament, Royalty, Drug squads and others to give you a broad and diverse training package. It covered all aspects of CP to a high standard. Planning, Reconnaissance, Driving, Surveillance and counter Surveillance, Search and resident CP as well as Hostile environment training done in a real time locations in and around the Pool (Dorset) area. The course will test you, putting you under real scrutiny on a daily basis to ensure you end the course at your best and ready for the job. The important thing is will the course get you work? I did my course in April 2016 and was getting jobs in London and South England end of May 2016.
The course was very good, demanding and of course enjoyable, led by staff and instructors that I still keep in touch with today.
