Just want to say a massive thank you for Steve at Orwell mortgages, As first time buyers me and my partner didn’t have a clue what we was doing.

However, Steve was so helpful throughout the whole process and making it make sense to us. He was so quick to response and advise and I cannot fault him.

The whole process of getting a viewing to getting accepted and applying for our mortgage was quick! And he was there every step of the way even chasing and speaking to our solicitors.
If you are thinking about going with Orwell mortgages I would a million percent say do it! Especially Steve Grimsdale. I will not be using anyone else.

Steve is a top mortgage advisor and even better a top bloke. He made the process so smooth and stress free for me and my partner, and was most helpful with any questions we had. He has sorted out mortgages for my partners family for years and we have all had the same great experience. Steve and the team at Orwell Mortgages have been absolutely superb. He responded to my original voicemail within minutes and booked us in for a meeting the same day. Steve has updated us throughout the whole process and has been open and honest. My wife and I never thought we would get a mortgage outright but he gave us hope. Without him processing our mortgage application and dealing with the underwriter we would have never have got a mortgage offer for the house we wanted. He has a massive amount of experience and knowledge and answered all our questions. Although waiting for a mortgage offer was the most stressful part, he was positive the whole time, putting us at ease. He visited us in person and fully explained what he could do for us which for first time buyers was golden. Although we are very nearly there with buying our first home I know where I am going for any future mortgage advise, Orwell Mortgages!

Steve at Orwell Mortgages is the man for your mortgage. We’ve used Steve for 5 mortgages over the past 7 years and we cannot recommend him highly enough. He makes the application process a total breeze, especially if you’re self-employed. He offers such a personal service and is always at the end of the phone or a WhatsApp message if you have any questions. He is a fantastic communicator and during our latest mortgage, he was checking in with us weekly, right up until the deal was completed. Not only is he incredibly friendly and personable, at the same time he manages to be professional, and conscientious and you know he genuinely wants to get you the best deal. Don’t look anywhere else for a mortgage broker, just give him a call, you won’t be disappointed.
