Friendly on-boarding staff. Couldn’t fault her. Clearly very experienced and knowledgeable. Customer service team… clearly very experienced and knowledgeable, not so friendly. My advice before you chose to employ this broker is to read your policy wording fully and ensure you have the important parts of your insurance policy in writing as well as verbally agreed before signing. If there’s an issue, let’s say with a windscreen claim the first thing they’ll do is check the voice recordings from your on-board conversation. That’s fair enough I guess? You’ve signed it, you deal with it. Not had that kind of reply or service from a broker before though. My experience with other brokers is they’ll at the very least call the underwriter on your behalf before trawling though voice recordings looking for evidence to absolve themselves. It appears that as a customer of this broker you are merely a number, a commission. Hoping not to have to talk to them again before my policy expires. There are other brokers out there which don’t act in this manner so really consider their offer before signing.

Given 2 stars because I wouldn’t recommend this broker despite their 60 years in business.

Wish I could give it a minus 5 star. After insuring via the firm for nearly 10 years, claim free at around £1500/year, the firm showed no common sense or understanding when we had to cancel the hire insurance in 2020 due to Covid break out. It gave us several different quotes on cancellation charges and kept on increasing its figure. Very nasty experience.

One of the best insurance companies to provide you with very competitive prices. They also rewards you for your loyalty when it comes to renewal. I have been with them for over 8 years and the reason being is that this business is run by honest and competent individuals who do care about their customers, special thanks to manager Caroline and Clare whom I have known for over 7 years and are one of the kindest and sweetest ladies around when it comes to looking after their customers and posses wealth of experience underpinned by their remarkable skills, frankly speaking these ladies are the reason why customers like us stay loyal to Osborne and Sons as they live and breathe customer care and professionalism

This company are always helpful and always go out of their way to make sure that any queries are resolved. I had an unusual question about the policy before I took it out and the team went out of their way to find out the information for me.

I have been with this company on one policy for years and now have a second policy with them because I am so pleased with them. Never had an issue at all!

I havve read some of the other reviews and can't believe what I'm reading, however I see that some below leave bad reviews wherever they go which reflects more on them than the companies they are reviewing

I find the staff at Osborne’s to be very patient and professional. I was looking at buying a new car and they told me about all of the different options I had and exactly how much it would cost me with no issues. I prefer being able to speak to someone without being kept on hold for ages or being redirected to a website and Osborne and Sons are always efficient. I also like the fact that if needed I can visit the office which you can’t do with a lot of the “big insurers”.

I have used Osborne and sons for a year now..renewal is coming let's see if they are still competitive. I have had no issues with them for a year and there prices are competitive.

Edit: April 2018 Osborne's offered a competitive price but wasn't better than my new insurer.. however I still can't fault them for the service as they tried lowering there price twice and they spoke to me in regards to details of the policy which where important.

This company have been providing me with Private Hire Vehicle insurance for 6 years now. I am very happy with level of customer service, particularly the help and assistance provided by Chris Goodsell, who is a great asset to the Osborne & Sons Insurance team! Keep up the good work Chris!

I got a verygood quote from this company and was very happy with they're professional manner. The lady I spoke to explained to me the different between rated and unrated insurance, gave me a very competitive quote and then even reduce it when I explained that my existing insurance was cheaper. other companies need to take note...Ive spoken to other brokers who have very bad attitude and just want to get your money as quickly as possible. 5 stars for osbornes
