After a bit of shopping around, we opted to use Oscar James for our mortgage advisors. Dan was incredibly helpful from start to finish, meeting us at the local branch for appointments. As first-time buyers we were utterly lost and learning all the time, but Dan was happy to explain and elaborate on all the info we needed. He kept us updated at the early stages when rates were changing so that we ended up with the cheapest deal possible.

Both Dan and Chanel were quick to respond to queries and action various tasks along the way, which really helped us feel confident that they were across everything.

We had a change in circumstance quite late relating to our life/critical illness policy which Dan and Chanel swiftly resolved. Additionally, when there was a complication with the conveyancers, Dan was quick to offer help and clarification to move things along.

Overall, really happy with the service. As first-time buyers the whole thing felt completely daunting but the service and support from Dan and Chanel were great.
