Insured my 2023 DL650 without issue. Two months later I traded the bike in against a 2022 Moto Guzzi v85tt and rang performance direct to change the policy over, only to be informed that they don’t have a listing for this motorcycle and could therefore not quote! So after only 2 months I have had to cancel my policy and go with another firm Losing 90%+ of the premium paid. I contacted Performance Direct and they immediately dropped all cancellation fees at their end which meant I was refunded over 70% of the premium. A big thumbs up to a company that listened to my complaint and acted upon it.

Found Performance Direct on a comparison website after my car insurance renewal skyrocketed. Reviews were excellent. Prices are very competitive and transaction was straightforward. Welcome message was a nice addition.

Been a loyal customer to this company for a few years insuring my horse box with them, which unfortunately the engine seized up back in March time, continued to pay insurance for a while as not long after I had a bereavement in the family so it wasn’t at the forefront of my mind, eventually got around to cancelling my policy, to be sent a letter saying I owe £160 - not sure why! Tried to chat to them and they were rude and arrogant,
Wanted a breakdown of the costs, instead they sent me a letter telling me if I don’t pay it will go to a debt collector. Absolutely disgusting company, would never use again or recommend. - performance direct before you reply telling me to fill a form out on your website I already have, and I’ll await your response. Just to state the letter claiming I pay in 7 days has no contact details on it to make payment… such a con!

First time with Performance Direct. So far, all good. Easy use website with clear facts and figures. Great policy price and no included extras that you don't need. Would recommend so far!

Excellent stress free service from Performance direct. Their prices were competitive and they were honest about receiving their commission. Highly recommended.
Ironically I ended up with a new policy from the same insurer I had been with for around 4 years ( but a different broker) and still saved e decent amount on my premium. At Premium Direct the price included their commission wheras my previous broker added an extra amount to a similar quote. I would definitely use Performance Direct again if needed.

Want to give 0 stars but unfortunately I can’t.

Do not go to this place for “temporary learners insurance” they took over 700 of me for less than 2 months insurance. When I was also on the phone wondering as to why they done this the girl was cheeky to me on the phone and never told me her name or I would have listed it.
Then also hung up on me while I was waiting on them to send me an email. Worst decision made.
Do not go to this company for insurance as they just take your money without stating the reason why… ridiculous. Not co operative on the phone either. Had to ring again and ask the same questions over again and get someone to speak on my behalf.
Make sure before you do learners insurance they won’t stroke you.

Canceled my policy with them after only a short few months and was told I had to pay the full term plus £55 cancellation fee. Staff quite blunt and offer no help other than a sarcastic payment plan. Then i find they'd just taken the money from my account without permission. Would never use these again and glad I never had to claim with them as they seem untrustworthy
