I can't review as making a claim, as I have never had to, but I have just had my insurance renewal come through for my 12 year old cat. Her premium has increased from £17 a month to £44 a month (to reiterate, with no claims and not covering pre-existing conditions). A 160% increase, justified by her age. This is absolutely shocking. I have looked online with other suppliers and I have many options under £20 so will be cancelling.

They state that they aim to settle claims within 28 days. Chased mine after 5 weeks to be told it now takes 5 weeks but they started counting a week after the claim was received! Claim was not complicated (no 3rd party involved and full evidence from vet) so unsure why it should take so long unless they simply do not have the staff.

I just wish we'd have read the reviews before deciding to use this shambolic company. Once they've got your money they don't want to know you. Recently lost our dog and submitted a claim for euthanasia and crematorium costs. They had us dancing round in circles, stalling every bit of the way. Requesting unnecessary information. Claim submitted in May and only partly settled towards the end of July after several telephone calls. Finally received a small amount of money after yet another phone call were we said we'd contact the ombudsman if our claim wasn't sorted immediately. They reduced are initial claim by a sustainable amount stating spurious reasons. Our advice, read the reviews and avoid at all costs. Can't actually believe this company hasn't been investigated further or maybe it has.

I wouldn't recommend this company if they were the last on Earth! Almost 2 months have now elapsed since I submitted my claim and they're telling me it's still waiting to be assigned to someone to assess. I've been given so much contradictory information when communicating with this company. I would strongly suggest you look elsewhere for pet insurance.........be warned.............give this place a wide berth.......they really don't deserve your custom!☹☹☹

Atrocious company, over a month since initial claim submitted and nothing back from them. Sadly my beloved dog passed away from an unrelated illness last week so a second claim submitted. My renewal was due on 4th of this month over a week since my dog died at a ridiculously inflated price. I informed them of his death on Tuesday this week however they took my direct debit regardless on the following day. This has added to an already extremely upsetting time for me, both the delayed settlements and the deduction of a large sum from my account despite the policy being cancelled due to his death. I will be going to the ombudsman and the media if this is not resolved immediately. This has to be put in public domain so people know how they operate. Absolute scum.

Be very careful when using this company.
Been with them for 3 years as the specialise in older dog insurance.
First two years premium increased.
Soon as my dog turned 12 on the third renewal it went from £72.00 to '£180.00!
Reasons given age of dog and increased vet bills but no claims made
Went to another dog insurer who were excellent and albeit it made a few small adjustments got it literally half the price down to £92.00
Be warned and shop around

If I could give no stars I would. Basically we went with a senior cat policy because of his age, paying £40 per month. We claimed nothing in two years. In May he had to have his two top canines removed as they were broken. He had no previous problems before this. The vet put the claim in for the work (£650) and we thought that would be that. Fast forward to today and we are told the claim got denied because he hasn't had regular checkups at the vets. Why would you take them if they don't need to go? It's traumatic enough for them as it is. So not only did they drag it out as long as they could they basically stuck two fingers up at us at the end anyway. We cancelled the policy. Pet insurance is a rip off and these are absolute sharks. Seriously don't bother. I am going to report them to the ombudsman.

After not using my insurance at all my renewal quote came through with a whopping 133% increase. When I told them I didnt want to renew my policy they cancelled my policy all together without letting it out run its course, this left my dog without insurance for 10 days. Dont bother using this company.
