I had the pleasure of speaking to Richard Wilson today, regarding an income tax query I had in relation to a Bond Settlement Certificate, that I had surrendered on behalf of an elderly lady, for whom I have Power of Attorney. Richard displayed empathy to my ignorance of financial or tax implications, he had an enormous amount of patience listening to my amateur and perhaps nauseating lay persons questions, calming my anxieties, providing reassurance, and educating me on the nuances in this financial arena, (that frightens me), he ensured I did not unwittingly set off any incendiary devices, so to speak and took the necessary time to ensure I understood his questions and more importantly, that I furnished him with the correct information, before providing his most welcome and grateful advice. He restored my faith in human nature and compassion. What a credit to the financial institution and company he represents.
