Have just taken out insurance for myself & my husband at Planet Earth and am so happy with the service. My husband is over 70 and I am almost 20yrs younger and trying to get couple insurance has always been difficult as my husband's age tend to increase my own insurance. Both myself and my husband are in good health so I was very pleased we were not penalised simply because of my husband's age. It was so lovely to speak with Tim, a perfect gentlemen who understood our needs perfectly, advised on our best options and politely asked if we wanted to be reminded next year when the policy was due. I was so happy with the policy we received and feel overly confident that we will be fully protected should an unfortunate situation occur where we may need to make a claim (fingers crossed this won't happen)! Wonderful company to deal with.

Fantastic service. We sadly had to cancel a holiday recently due to illness and I was able to speak to an agent without being put on hold. They were friendly and helpful. My money was refunded and in my account within days. 12 out of 10 for exceptional service!! Highly recommend

I had taken out insurance for my mum in March for our trip in May, unfortunelty the trip got cancelled due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
We called planet earth and spoke to a helpful gentleman called Ken who offered to refund the full cost of the policy with just a £25.00 fee. Its so reassuring to be able to talk to someone who knows the policy inside out, a refund was processed immediately.
As the travel agent cancelled our holiday they have broken the travel package regulations and have a obligation to give us a full cash refund.

We took out a family policy with Planet Earth and before our trip enquired what cover we would have with the policy, should someone took Covid during the holiday.We were advised that only the person would be covered and other family members would not. This did not suit the needs of our trip and we have unfortunately had to take out insurance with another company that covers us fully as a family. Very disappointing.

Please, please do not use this company. My husband had a stroke in Jamaica and they left us stranded. They wouldn't speak to the hospital, as they were too busy, and after my initial call to explain what had happened they wouldn't take my call, just kept saying they would ring back. We had to pay for medical care (3 nights / 4 days) and once discharged from the hospital they wouldn't help us find or pay for flights or a hotel. After every call of which there were many, I sent an email in the hope that someone would help, but they didn't!!
