I had a house fire and hired this company after my insurance company was moving too slow and lowballing things. My insurance company proposed a rebuild estimate of $245K and was going to only "clean" half the house. After a long battle with insurance, we were able to prove that a complete gut rehab was required and we are about to settle for $468K, which is far above my policy limit. My biggest mistake was not hiring these people right away as the process would have been a lot smoother. Instead I went with the insurance company's preferred vendors (they have a huge conflict of interest), who were the ones that lowballed the estimate and took forever, so then PM had to go to battle with them because insurance had a piece of paper from their preferred vendor that said it would only cost $245K - so if you hire PM right away, this is unlikely to happen because insurance has less ability to completely screw you over - which they definitely will if you let them.
