ProMediate did an excellent job contacting a national Carpet retailer for me and then negotiating with them in relation to carpets and laminate that I had bought. They managed to persuade the retailer to give us some compensation for delay in fitting the flooring. I would recommend using this mediation service rather than going to the Small Claims Court, as in my experience that can take up a lot of time.

I would urge anyone having problems with a service provider, such as I had, to use Promediate. Its very clear that they have a reputation that service providers respect. After protracted discussions that I had with a company that made wholesale changes to my holiday with no time to renegotiate, they refused to accept that they were in effect, in breach of contract. As soon as Peter Causton became involved they agreed to a settlement. Something that I alone would NEVER have got.

Just the thought of having to go to court can be daunting, expensive and very consuming for everyone involved. Learning about and speaking with Peter Causton (at ProMediate) was the best thing I did and feel sure it will be for you!

After two long years of frustrating and unfair treatment, it was quickly and effectively ended in just a few weeks of engaging ProMediate. My only regret was not finding them sooner. His calming, helpful and thoughtful advice at a time you need it most was truly fantastic. We have now come to an agreed resolution that should resolve all of my issues about the previously completed poor quality repair standards done to my car following a non-fault accident. The case was complex and professionally handled throughout and I have no hesitation in personally recommending their excellent services. This is hopefully never but I now know where to go next time I may need such help!

Peter at pro mediate was quick to respond to my initial request for help.
Unfortunately I found the communication after I paid inadequate. I understand that it is difficult to contact car sellers but that's all that needed to be said. Any update that they were having difficulties would have been hugely appreciated.
Instead, I did not hear from pro mediate for over 20 days, despite letting them know that I was running out of time to deal with the situation (I will no longer have a place to store the car).
They finally responded to me after I wrote a harsh review. (Which they threatened me with legal action to remove) but at that point I genuinely thought I had been scammed.
In the end they did try to help and they did provide me with the certificate they had agreed to provide me, which was good.
I would probably recommend them but make sure you hassle them because I think in my case I just got forgotten.
