My daughter was 14 when she ruptured her ACL playing rugby, the sport she loves and dreams of playing professionally. The first few weeks after injury and surgery were very dark - and very hard to watch as a parent - my happy, fit, very sporty, active daughter reduced to crutches and not even be able to lift her leg. After a few weeks of traditional physio I came across Proview - and a conversation with Nick and we were signed up. We started working with Gwen - and suddenly the world started to look a bit brighter - Gwen could empathise - and was an amazing role model. She also treated my daughter with firm kindness - as a fellow sports person not a kid - just what was needed! A clear plan, a pathway with milestones and testing - and support whenever we needed it. C was signed back to sport 13 months post surgery - stronger, fitter and faster than before with an understanding of herself and her body and mind that few teenagers have. I can't praise the programme and Gwen enough. Thank you to all of the Proview team for getting her back up and running (and into the Wales U18 squad!)

I began my ACL rehab journey with Nick and Proview around 2 months post op from an ACL reconstruction and meniscus surgery, back in March/April 2023, having found the team on Instagram. I’d always been quite sceptical about remote/online coaching, but the process and the service I’ve received has been nothing short of exceptional. Nick’s attention to detail and understanding of what I needed and when I needed it, has allowed me to feel as confident as ever going back to rugby having had knee problems for the last 4/5 years before finally getting it all sorted. I can safely say that I’ve been back at rugby feeling like a new player, more excited than ever for each and every training session and match, knowing that I’ve had the perfect support and overall plan to get me back better than ever!

Nick is the guy if you want to get back to playing sports after a knee injury. Tore my ACL and meniscus and we went through a comprehensive 12-month programme together, which was tailored to my needs and helped me get back to playing competitive football. Nick is incredibly knowledgeable in this area so if there were any niggles throughout the rehab process he’d instantly diagnose the problem and adjust our sessions accordingly. I also really appreciated the level of involvement Nick gives you - he clearly explains the knee mechanisms and the exercises we need to prioritise to strengthen the ACL and minimise the risk of re-injury going forward. This has changed my style of gym training completely, as I realise the importance of explosive and dynamic movements, as well as strengthening lesser trained muscles, to improve my athletic performance. Nick has been an incredible support during my rehab with a hip tendinopothy.
