As a former mortgage underwriter and with my mum being a retired mortgage broker, I’d like to think I know more than the average person about mortgages. However, when it came to converting our residential mortgage to a let-to-buy while securing a new mortgage for our next home, I found myself hitting roadblocks. Policies weren’t making sense—one lender even told me I couldn’t do a let-to-buy because I hadn’t previously rented out my property (which would have been against my current mortgage terms anyway!).

James was recommended to me by a friend, and I couldn’t be happier that we chose to work with him. He made the entire process seamless, using up-to-date communication methods like WhatsApp, which made providing documents and getting updates incredibly easy. He was fast, efficient, and proactive—reviewing documents, submitting applications, and chasing lenders without me ever needing to worry. Most importantly, he got us the right mortgages without any hassle.

I have high expectations and can be hard to impress, but James exceeded them. It’s not often you find someone who is reliable, efficient, and fairly priced in this field, and I’ll 100% be using him again. I’ll also be recommending him to friends and family without hesitation!
