My experience of QBE customer service for a small business is pathetic at best. The broker that QBE have in place will not help me so I am left with no option but to go direct to QBE. I have left 3 messages spoken with 2 people and sent 2 emails regarding a small issue I had with the policy. Nothing!! As seems to be the way these days with a big company if things are going right the world is great, as soon as a customer needs help or support a companies true colours are shown. CUSTOMER SERVICE....the clue is in the name

I was reversed into when statioary by one of their insured drivers. A decent chap who was very apologetic and held his hands up to liability. That was 10 months ago! Repeated claims by me to QBE for the insurance excess which I'd had to pay - not one e-mail or Recorded Delivery letter every got answered. So I issued a claim in the County Court which they also ignored and for which I got Judgement. Now my insurers have told me they've instructed solicitors to claim the costs of repairs to my car. Similarly the copmany which provided me with a hire car are also using solicitors to reclaim their costs. That all may seem unbelievable but my insurers and the car hire company are saying that QBE are rejecting the claim on the grounds their client denies having the accident! I have photos of his vehicle backed into mine, I have a photo of his driving licence which I took as part of the exchange of details. I have his 'phone number.

Terrible service! I was ran over by a truck 3 months ago and they had QBE insurance.

Getting compensation for my claim has been almost impossible. I have sent all my evidence and have been waiting for weeks now that these get reviewed. The person in charge of my claim is never “available” when I call.. All very suspicious.

Don’t know what to do at this point. We have settled an amount for one of the payments two weeks ago and he’s still due to send this to finance so I can start getting paid. Utterly disappointing and shocking. Chasing them up has become a full time job for me now.

Shocking experience
Had some storm damage earlier this year, got a quotation (approx £4,000) to repair
the roof and forwarded it. Very slow to respond, more damage being created meanwhile. Finally received an instruction to proceed and instructed the builder in good faith. Repair work was completed and builder sent in invoice (Same value). Passed this on, they then disagreed with quotation and offered £965 !!! even though they had instructed based on the quotation.
Hassled them for a good while, no shift.
How these people are not regulated is shocking and looking at some other reviews I am not alone. I will now be taking this up with Ombudsman.

Absolutely useless even when 3rd party admitted liability it took over a month to get our work vehicle recovered, so something tells me they don't know what they are doing! When they finally pass your details on to the recovery team the recovery team then ask you for copies of all the pictures again so no actual management of the account taking place I'm basically doing their account management for them! Enterprise also called to provide a hire vehicle, nothing similar or suitable and want to know all about the accident info which had already been submitted to the team at QBE - Avoid unless you want to waste lots of your time

A third party reversed their pick up teuck into our car. QBE accepted fault but used a company called FMG to handle the claim on their behalf. FMG Total Loss team and QBE provided the worst customer care I've ever experienced. Appalling.

DO NOT USE THIS COMIANY FOR ANY REASONS TIME WASTE POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE , SPOKE TO LAUREN HUNG UP SPOJE TO ROSIE HUNG UP SPOKE TO ADAM HUNG UP THREE DISCONNECT WITH IN 15 min as they unable to resolve query HONESTLY WISH IF THERE WAS. Zero star ,BAD EXPERIENCE
