As a first time buyer I didn’t have much of a clue what to expect and the process did seem to initially drag on. Most of the delays were down to the seller and their solicitor being difficult to reach. The agent explained that everyone in the chain was clearly under a lot of pressure as a result of working through COVID. All things considered though the service was very good and I would use them again.

Horrific service. When using conveyancing services were promised a full refund if there was no sale of our property. Didn't happen then when trying to get a refund was told they don't offer refunds and was hung up on. Then called again and was told could only refund £150 out of £529 as the rest of money was used through another business and couldn't be returned. Don't say 100% refund no sale no fee if you then lie to customers faces. avoid at all costs

The worst company ever, they are happy and friendly to take your money, once this is done, they literally do nothing, they even try to deny who previously talked to you. Its been 3 weeks since I instructed them for my conveyancing process and they have done absolutely nothing, they don't even respond to emails. Avoid them at all costs. As a project Manager, I can assure you that the level of service and professionalism from this company is none. now I guarantee you that perhaps they will reply to this review using the typical generic "copy and paste" response....

We exchanged contracts on Friday and have been very impressed by the efforts of Quittance legal services.
Our case was particularly complicated. We were buying a flat with a short lease, so the lease had to be extended at the same time. Add to the complications an absent landlord and a very uncommunicative solicitor on the sellers side.
Quittance and the solicitor pulled out all the stops to resolve issues and provide an all round excellent service.
We would have no hesitation in recommending the Quittance team.

Clearly we picked a very difficult time to buy our first home!!! Quittance, the solicitor and our mortgage lender had to battle with coronavirus working restrictions. The Nationwide were majorly backed up and it was hard to get updates from them. From what we understand the solicitor was buried in cases. The shining beacon in all of this was Quittance though. Quittance always replied to emails immediately and did everything they could under the circumstances. We felt like we had a guardian on our side throughout the conveyancing. We have now finished the purchase and are over the moon. Thanks to all the team at Quittance and especially Joshua.
