Rob is the most knowledgeable personal trainer I have met and I can’t imagine there’s a better one out there. He has helped me rehabilitate my injured should in just a couple of months and also improve my overall strength and physique. I feel like Rob has really understood my needs and tailored my sessions perfectly for me. I only go once a week for PT and to the group circuit training sessions when I can, which are also great. I am very happy to Recommend R8 fitness.

I have never liked gyms and found them boring in the past. I came to Rob after a knee operation for some strength work as rehab and a general desire to get fitter and stronger as I get older. My training sessions and the group sessions he runs have been brilliant and given me a new insight into the benefits of having a PT and strength training. I have found Rob to be highly experienced and informative about what he is helping you to achieve and how to do it. He tailors each session to your goals. He has given me the confidence that I can achieve what I want and helped me surprise myself in what I can do. The gym is a nice environment to train in, the group sessions fun, focused, each one different, and a good atmosphere with Rob helping everyone to achieve their individual goals. Thanks Rob!

Rob’s sessions are incredible. He tailors each session to each person seamlessly, with slight adjustments to make the intensity just right. I can already feel myself getting stronger. I love the classes. Post baby and pregnancy where I didnt feel able to exercise, he has rekindled my love for working out. Rob has really encouraged me and harnessed motivation to shift my baby to weight and to feel stronger. Cannot recommend enough.

I would really recommend Rob’s class to anybody who wants to build their strength, fitness and confidence in a safe and welcoming environment. He really knows his stuff, and tailors workouts based on ability levels and goals. I have tried classes nearer to home, but it is worth a little extra travel to get such a good work out!

I’ve been coming to Rob for over a year now and I can honestly say it has changed my life! I’m an active person and have always been quite fit but I had a back operation a few years ago and really struggled since then to get back to my previous fitness level.
Rob has strengthened my back, my core and taught me not to be afraid to use my back! Game changer for me. I’m also away with work a lot so sometimes have to improvise with my exercise, I take pics of the hotel gym and Rob gives me some great stuff to do with whatever equipment they might have. Love my weekly sessions, wish I could afford to do more!
