Personal service, integrity, confidence and discretion based on a continuity of understanding of personal and family financial needs and constraints are vital in this business. You need to know, if you do not have a relationship already, that the person you will be dealing with is committed to developing this sort of rapport. Paul Whitehead offers this in exemplary fashion and so, because, with Raymond James, we could be confident he would still be supported by experienced analysts, we were happy to transfer our business with him when he moved rather than start again with an unknown individual. While it is early days for us with Raymond James, the transfer has been seamless and we have certainly not regretted this decision. If there has been any element of 'corporate identity' in the change', it has been subtle. The face we still see is Paul's who remains as we have always known him but, as he now runs a branch, his leadership should develop others in his own reassuring ethos.

Our connections with Raymond James were principally through the company’s recruitment of our own account manager, who started working with them in 2020.
A good account manager is probably a bit like a good dentist or doctor. They tend to attract customer loyalty.
So it was with our financial portfolio and our decision in 2021 to stay loyal to our account manager and transfer our assets over to Raymond James .
The transfer process was incredibly easy and smooth and handled expertly by Paul.
Whilst the recent economic turbulence have made things more difficult financially we are confident that we have good expertise at RJ backing us and that over the long term we have as safe a pair of hands as any steering the course of our finances.
Based on a longer time period than that open to us in this new relationship, I would normally have scored their service as 5*. However we remain very much in the infancy of our relationship with Raymond James so I feel that a 4* review is a fair one at this point
