This company's customer service is an absolute disgrace. My pension scheme was transferred to ReAssure from Legal & General in August 2020 and ever since then my experience with them has been appalling. Contact by telephone is arduous in the extreme, promises are made but not kept and you never talk to the same person twice. I'm desperately trying to move my pension to another provider but the process just goes on and on!

Totally lacking infrastructure to provide a basic service - let alone a quality one. Contacting by phone takes hours waiting, never use their call back service as no-one does call back. E-mails ignored, info that they promise to send usually never arrives. If you are any of the poor mutts that L&G have passed onto ReAssure you will find the service is diabolical. Be very careful about any dealings with this bunch.

This is the worst company you could ever wish to deal with. I should have received my first pension payment in June this year [2021], and I'm still waiting. Have been told twice, that it will be processed within 15-20 working days. Pure fiction. You will also have to be patient while they answer the phone, as on every occasion that I've had the misfortune to have to call them [5 times], they have never answered within 20 minutes.

Whomever designed the customer experience for ReAssure is stuck in the dark ages. Absolutely everything has to be done via post (including password reset) which makes even simple tasks like sorting out login issues take days instead of minutes. They lost my login details from their system, even after I had previously gone through their migration from Old Mutual Wealth to ReAssure, and trying to sort it out has been a nightmare. I can't wait to move my pension elsewhere, however that might be difficult as ReAssure seems to be buying up many of the UK pension providers including Guardian Financial Services, HSBC, Barclays Life, Alico, National Mutual (Tomorrow) and Old Mutual Wealth Life Assurance (previously Skandia). I've just read that they're acquiring Legal & General as well. Let's hope they hire someone with a more modern sensibility to run their customer service and web portal side of the business.

Worse company I ever worked for! I had to get help with my mental health due to this situation.

Due to the pandemic I asked it to be extended my notice period I asked this because other colleagues who were getting married or travelling did so I thought I'd do the same. Unfortunately my new job had to close and therefore couldn't no long start on the 1st of April.
I was told that it was a HR decision and that I wasn't able to extend it. I decided to take matters into my own hands a to speak to HR myself and they confirmed it was a management decision and nothing to do with them. My team leader and manger of the department therefore lied to me and felt as if I was being unfairly treated.
Before I handed in my notice I was told I was going to receive my end of year bonus, I was verbally told the amount via my team leader in a one to one. I was then informed I was NO longer entitled to the bonus as I handed in my notice however another colleague who was ment to leave before me and was able to extend their notice two days before they were meant to leave there role to get married and move away received their bonus!
After not giving up as I had the expense of running a house solely I went going to several managers due to the lack of support from my own team leader I finally got some good news and was offered a 6 month contract! However due the virus we had to leave the office on the 26th March. On the 2nd of April I receive a letter stating they no require me and my notice still stands. I felt physically sick and my mental health deteriorated. After a few months of jobs search I found employment, thankfully.
I worked hard right up til the end for this company without any acknowledgment and they couldn't even pay furlough which the government would have paid for. There were other staff members that took advantage of the system saying they were sick receive full pay when really they were just taking time off.
I just wanted to share my experience and hope it doesn't happen to others.

Had a pension with HSBC which was transferred into ReAssure. I needed to switch a fund, tried their online switch service, which did not work. Tried using secure message function, this also did not work. Requested by post and by phone, agent agreed to switch fund on 22/10/20. As of 29/10/20 still not switched. After waiting 47 minutes on phone, agent explained transactions are taking 10-15 working days and calls are taking a long time to answer. No wonder given their online services don't work. I expect requests regarding significant funds invested to be handled promptly, not to take weeks and require almost a hour waiting on the phone.

As others have already suggested in these reviews, the customer service is pretty appalling.
Long wait times, the usual telling you to look online, then when you finally get through to someone, they seem to have no idea what they're talking about..Fortunately, I'm moving away soon, very soon.

I am disgusted of how I have been treated by this unprofessional company who employ untrained telesales people. They lie, and mislead. They are holding onto monies owed to me and I don't suppose that I will ever see it.
