Absolutely useless.
My husband cancelled our policy on Thursday and we're still waiting for confirmation of the refund and no claims which had to be requested by email after the call on Thurs as the claims handler advised it could not be done by phone.
Pretty much every email is sent with a please see attachment rather than detailing the content in the email.
Complete contrast to Tesco car insurance which we were able to cancel with a simple phone call refund confirmed and already received.
Cancellation done to go to multi car policy.
Update 26th Sep. The reply from Rightsure doesn't include the amount of chasing being done to get updates and the failure to respond to the refund until 19th Sep. At the moment zero refund has been advised which has been challenged with calculations provided on 21st Sep with no reply as yet!
The service has been poor. It would have been so much easier if it could have been sorted out on the phone rather than email as Rightsure requested when the initial request was made.

Do not touch this company with a barge pole! Worse experience of insurance in my 40 years of driving. At first it went okay the process but again the first time once my policy had gone through I had numerous phone calls from them asking for proof of ID as I was paying monthly they use a finance company called close brothers and they needed it for them. Then came the bombshell. i had to sell my car so I called them to cancel my policy and provide me with my no claims proof which all went fine the advisor cancelled my policy and it went through, that was it happy days!!
Approximately a week later I received a letter through the post from a debt recovery company called Moorcroft debt recovery saying I owed £81.47p. I actually initially thought it was a scam as it did not mention what the debt was and not even Rightsure. I checked out on google to see if this was an actual company and it was so I gave them a call. The advisor claimed i owed the money to Close Brothers finance so I put Two and Two together and guessed it was Rightsure Insurance so I gave them a call. Apparently it was money I owed for legal fee to be paid in full for the year something I definitely wasn’t told about when I took out the policy. I am very disappointed that I would receive a letter saying i owed money to a debt recovery agenty so soon and I would imagine an elderly person would maybe panic as there are so many scammers out there! I hope this review helps you to get a feel for how this company operates and such a low score on Google Reviews!

Impersonal, unhelpful, ridiculous charges. My experience echoes the majority of other customers who have rated this company poorly. £90 to press a button to cancel a policy? Really? Thank goodness I didn't have to make a claim.

Do not use them pay for insurance 3 days later get a call from them for a data review after call put the price up by double not sure why so cancelled cost £120 FOR 3 DAY INSURANCE

One guy called Mo... worth his weight in gold. Helped me understand my policy changes and how to deal with them on my renewal. A very helpful gentleman in a world of people who aren't so helpful. There aren't enough stars in the galaxy for this customer service agent. Well done MO!

Terrible. Call handlers don't listen, documents not sent, I updated my details immediately yet five days later they are still working it all out and adding hundreds to my policy. When I tried to cancel I am still waiting for confirmation this has been done, promised this yesterday and still nothing

Caused a lot of unnecessary stress at a time when I didn’t need anything more. I got diagnosed with cancer had the operation to remove it and was due to start chemo on 27 December. Doctors advised a holiday to help recover prior to chemo. Booked insurance after getting reasonable quote on compare website. Went on holiday. Whilst on holiday got email saying they are cancelling my insurance because I never provided proof of my address and no claims bonus. On my return I explained the situation. Unsympathetic and said there is nothing they can do. The quote then increased by £100 because my policy had been ‘cancelled’ spent hours on the phone to try and sort out. Don’t use I’m sure this whole process cost me a-lot in admin fees, haven’t checked as yet as enough on my plate.

These jokers are definitely going to get your insurance wrong. When you try to take the pain away by moving elsewhere you won't be able to without speaking to the idiots on the phone... Which takes hours... And hours .. and gets you nowhere... AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
