I was very surprised and disappointed to read a review from a RISK customer called Lex who totally slated Risk and Safety Management Ltd and seemed to be getting very personal about Mike's training style. I have known this company for more than twenty years and their professionalism, knowledge and customer service is outstanding. Not everybody is suited to online training but when delivered, and 'attended' properly, it is a very convenient and effective form of training delivery because you can attend from the comfort of your own home from anywhere in the world, but, just as if you were attending a face to face course in a classroom, you need to concentrate on what is being taught in an environment which is conducive to learning. Unfortunately some people attend online training with the attitude that "I can get on with other things off screen as long as I keep my computer turned on"! So if you are considering attending an online CITB course, please be aware that this is definitely not the case and that this type of mindset can also be very disruptive for the other delegates; if only because the other delegates understandably think that "if its alright for him then its alright for me". So all Mike would have been trying to do is to set some simple and, I believe, very reasonable ground rules (which are in line with the CITB requirements of running online courses) for every person attending the course to follow so as to ensure a smooth running, well delivered course with a very high success rate; which RISK consistently achieve and is one of their unique selling points. So keep it up Mike, all of the other reviews clearly show that it works and is agreeable with most people. I would recommend this company and Mike without any reservation.

I recently attended a two day SMSTS Refresher Course with RISK Ltd in central London. The course was fast paced and informative which ensured that attention was held and the course did not drag, which it could have easily done. A very well informed and engaging trainer made the course a pleasure.

I have used RISK for my NEBOSH training courses. Facilties at their London training venue near Waterloo Station are excellent. Course content is detailed and specific to the course. Would highly recommend.

The Nebosh course was delivered in-house at our organisation with one of the RISK trainers. There was a lot of information which was nicely placed out. We learnt a lot each day and it was very enjoyable.

I did my smsts at.the beginning of march 2020 and I must admit that I did not k ow what to expect but mike certainly knew mate than what he was talking about a d his manner and teaching manner were exceptional he made sure that everyone was up to speed with the course and exams at the end with constant mock exams at.the end of each day and homework .
I would recommend risk to anyone wanting to do a number of different courses that want to actually understand what they are learning and not just following the crowds.
I will be going back for any training I need in this area of work in the future..
