Found the course very well presented. Excellent tutors who are easily reachable 24/7 to help with any learning difficulties.

I would recommend the guarantee pass scheme. If you are not successful in achieving the pass Mark you can get back on the course free of charge as long as you have attended all the training days and completed your home work.

The ladies in the office are very friendly and are able to help with any concerns.

I would recommend risk and safety management.

Once my company had agreed to fund my NEBOSH training, I quickly found that Risk were carrying out a training course in Kings Cross London. What first attracted me to the course was the convenient location and the “Guaranteed Pass”. After completing the course work, the exam followed, to which I sat like a “Rabbit in the headlights” and to my disappointment I failed. After a few weeks contemplation, I decided to contact Risk to exercise my right to retake the course and achieve my “Guaranteed Pass”. Mike was my tutor second time around, he came with a different outlook to the way we completed the training. Something clicked this time round and I managed to pass my NEBOSH Construction Certificate, which has now changed my direction in life and along with it a new role within my company.

I would just like to recommend Risk and their “Guaranteed Pass” as second time round it gave me the opportunity and confidence to achieve my goal.

Purchased the guaranteed pass for Nebosh General and Construction certificate NGC1,NCC1, NCC2 course based at the Kings Cross location in late 2017.

The course was very well led but extremely intensive, basic requirements is to memorise the contents of the “Blue” book which is the approximate dimensions of an old fashioned telephone directory.

The exam is 11 questions for which you will need to hand write a page of A4 for each question correctly!, however they positive mark your paper meaning incorrect answers are ignored, not deducted from your score.

I failed miserably at the 1st attempt it was simply too much information to learn and memorise at the same time for me.

2nd time around I took a conscious decision to memorise the answers only and ignored the learning aspect with resulted in a pass with credit.

The quality of both tutors Mike & Dave was very high, as were the course materials, although they are both ex-military it was easy to distinguish which was RAF & which was Army!, some of the students found the Army a touch on the abrasive side, but don’t let this distract you, the content of the tutelage is still top class and it’s not personal, more of a no nonsense approach.

Overall a very good training provider who are looking to guide you through the Nebosh labyrinth rather than just take your money so have awarded them 4 stars, would have been 5 but for a couple of minor gripes.

Gripe one, paid just under £2000 out of my own pocket but then incurred another £25 credit card charge, would have expected this to be included in the price, appreciate that some business can remit via BACS but most individuals will have to use a credit card so include it in the cost.

Gripe two one of the booking/contact numbers I was given was an 0845 number which my mobile operator charged me a whacking great 50p a minute for!. 0330 or 0800 please.

Overall am very pleased with my training and would not hesitate to recommend RISK to anyone, but would suggest you pay that bit extra for the guaranteed pass scheme unless you have done a lot of pre course studying.

There is now no charge for card charges, however, we do prefer it if payments can be made by transfer, but again I’m afraid it is, Technology.

We are in the process of reviewing our telephone numbers and are looking at the removing all tracking numbers, we had been advised that these weren’t premium priced numbers, so we do apologise for that and will be addressing it in the near future."
