Exceptional Craftsmanship & Integrity – Highly Recommended!

Root Construction recently completed our kitchen renovation, and they stood out from every other contractor we received quotes from. Not only did they identify errors in the plans from our kitchen supplier, but they also suggested minor layout tweaks and electrical adjustments that helped us open up an otherwise wasted space, something no one else had noticed.

The work was meticulously planned and well-communicated, but what really impressed me was their attention to detail. Too often, I’ve had to watch over contractors to ensure their work met my expectations. With Root, that wasn’t necessary; they were self-diagnosing and fixing minor snags before I even had a chance to notice them! Their craftsmanship exceeded what I would have expected, and the final result was outstanding. We absolutely love our kitchen, and the changes Sam and his team suggested have made a world of difference.

Beyond their exceptional work on our home, Root’s integrity and generosity were truly remarkable. I asked Sam for some advice regarding a roof on a charity building we support, and not only did he take the time to assess it, but Root Construction also carried out the necessary repairs, completely free of charge!! This would have cost the charity over £3,000, and their generosity is something I won’t ever forget.

It’s rare to find a company that delivers both outstanding craftsmanship and genuine ethical values. I’m already saving up for a loft conversion, and there’s no question about who I’ll be calling. Highly recommended!

Great quality work and highly professional.
This was a relatively small job to brick up a doorway and correct bad brickwork from the previous homeowner, but everything was carried out with a lot of care. Rob even made up 5 samples of mortar before he started, to ensure he achieved an accurate colour match.

fly2help is a local aviation charity based at Staverton airport and operating from a portacabin.
Root Group came to the rescue when we found water pouring through the roof! Sam visited, inspected, advised on solutions and then planned the whole job, scheduling the scaffolders, carpenters to strip and repair the board roof and then the roofers.
Now we're water-tight again, with a long-lasting solution and operations have resumed from the cabin!

My water boiler broke down and Root Group came out that morning to look at the problem. The heating engineer, Phil, has loads of experience with Worcester Bosch units and found the problem immediately, something that has been missed over 10 years of supposed 'proper' routine services. He really knows his stuff and all was sorted quickly and cost effectively. I couldn't believe that so many previous engineers couldn't be bothered to perform a task that trained engineers should have done! Phil did and sorted it! I'm really pleased with the service and work quality - honest, professional & excellent. I would recommend Root Group to anyone around the Gloucestershire area. Seriously good!
