Safe2 Property Safety Certificates - Romsey

This is my experience of Safe2,  an NRLA advertised supplier.

Property due a 5yr EICR cert, Previous electrician retired, had noticed SAFE2 promo on NRLA. Boiler service/cert also due so booked both certificates

Noticed the promised 5% discount was not included on invoice, even though I had clicked through from NRLA.

EICR completed without hassle (although my city has many electricians, the engineer had travelled a distance)

But boiler engineer cancelled by text on the day of appointment. fair enough these things happen. Re-book.

Contact Safe2 the day before new appointment to confirm gas engineer which they eventually do. Attend property and wait. And wait.

No show and no communication.

Presumably Safe2 do not pay the local engineer's enough money and they take work elsewhere...

I contacted Safe2, pointed out the 2nd failed appointment and incorrect invoice. Requested a refund. They apologised but insisted they could not refund to a credit card, my original payment method. They insisted on my texting them bank details, which begrudgingly I did......only for a refund to be made to the card.

I booked a new boiler appointment directly with my usual local supplier.

I sincerely advise no one to use this company, they don't have any engineers they are basically the middle man company. This company offers a cheap price for services which drives the quality of work being done. The best thing to do is search for a reputable heating or electrical company to carry out the services you require. As an engineer they approached my company for jobs which I explained I couldn't do at their price they called me back agreeing to pay my fee, the job was completed and they still have not payed my invoice. Stay clear at all cost. They have replied saying my invoice has been paid but this is far from the truth, I will also carry out a social media campaign on companies like this that prey on us engineers.

I arranged via Safe2 for an EPC inspection to be carried out on a property. I found their support and general service to be very efficient, friendly and professional at all times, which was the same for their retained Energy Assessor. I will certainly be using their services in the future and would happily recommend them to others.

Used this company for the first time to sort EPCs. Becky was incredibly helpful and organised the EPCs quickly and efficiently as I needed them done quickly. She kept me informed every step of the process and followed up with clear emails. Highly recommend this company

Three cancelled EICR appointments over 2 months. Still haven't managed to get the electrical test done. Don't return calls, it is always me that has to call them back. Hopefully the engineer will turn up for the fourth appointment and complete the EICR. Will never use this company again and I suggest no one else does.

Unprofessional company. I ordered an EICR electricity test for a specific day and nobody informed me that they would not come until I texted the electrician Patrick. Since then, no one called me or replied my message.

Very disappointed. Should avoid and blacklist this company.
