We all need our rights of way in the Countryside.

Around 20/09/23 This company installed cameras covering three rights of way for a client who is trying to close them. The cameras cover obstructions to the old rights of way placed by the client.

The Safesite operative attending has been interviewed by the Police over his behaviour locally.

Safesite have received numerous requests and GDPR notices from locals and lane users to stop filming. The Operations Manager has ignored the formal GDPR requests to stop filming etc.

On 02/12/23 The Office of the Information Commissioner found SAFESITE to be in breach of GDPR. They were ordered to initiate compulsory re-training for staff and to alter their practices to conform with the Law.

But, cameras are still (08 02 2024) in breach of our data rights and no compliant signage has been erected. Using the rights of way is still filmed with 24/7 response.

The staff attending are from both companies under the Safesite label. The staff are the same both at the HQ and on site.

SAFESITE claim their client is responsible and not themselves.

They refuse to answer correspondence.

The dispatcher told me I wouldn't get anyone out here until Thursday as they were very busy after the ice storm last month. But their technician Keath was in the neighborhood and decided to stop by and took care of my gate right away. true he has to come back and replace the damaged parts but dang it he got it working in the meantime!. Security is very important to me, and apparently to Keath as well. The very best customer service I have seen. And a technician who really knows his stuff.
