Tried to double my car insurance.

Last year, I took out car insurance with them, which was competitive. This month, they sent me an auto-renewal reminder: "just agree, it's easy".

So I asked them to give me details of last year's premium, vs. this year's quote. Reply: "Last year was £340, this year we want £680, thanks"..

!!! Did they think I wasn't going to notice? I can only think that that is their business model. I won't trust them in future, or do any more business with them.

Through a comparison site, I got insurance (3rd party, fire, theft) for £250.

I see now what they mean when they say they cater to mature citizens.

People need to bear in mind that this is a call centre. Don't expect to be able to go in and sit down with someone and discuss your insurance as there are no facilities for this - as I say, they are purely a call centre.
