We were flooded in 2014. Like responsible householders we did our utmost to keep the water out but up to about a centimetre got in and by the time insurance assessor came, the inside of the house had dried out. Insurance company dismissed everything except damage to books and clothes. So, we put in the claim for £18000 for books and clothes etc and the insurance company offered £14000. Disappointed and desperate, we contacted Salmon Assessors and everything changed. Our claim was assigned to Mr Jeremy Rollinson. He came in listened to us and enlightened on what we could rightfully claim. It took just over 4 years to resolve. He worked with them and us and we ended up getting floor, walls and electrics redone. We moved in a year or so later when the work was still being done and they settled in cash for work that remained doing. We still needed just over £10000 to finish off doing the remaining work but what we got was many times more that the £14000 that we were originally offered. Mr Jeremy Rollinson was very professional and more like a family friend. God bless him.
