Awful company wouldn’t recommend.

Refused to pay out on claim even after we won court case and still being difficult. Costing us thousands in legal fees and trying to wriggle out of everything.
Causing extreme stress and worry. Avoid

I’ve been a customer of Salon Gold for over 10 years but I’ll never use them again. Happy enough to take your premium but when salon owners needed them most during the pandemic they refused to take our calls and left us in the dark. When we finally got correspondence we were all told we had no claim.
Over 3 years later and a big fight the courts ruled we should have been paid out as our policies should have covered us. All these years, stress and expense to receive what should have rightfully been ours in the first place. Even when we won our case they’ve dragged their feet and tried to screw us over.
If you want a company that will try every trick in the book not to pay out go ahead, if not I’d stay well clear!

The absolute worst insurance company for salon owners!! Avoid avoid avoid!

They refused to pay out during Covid even though insurance policy covered business interruption.

They are only now paying out 4 years later because they have been told they have to by a judge. But they are still making it difficult and stressful, dragging their feet with payments.

If you want an insurance company you can rely on in times of need STAY AWAY from Salon Gold they are awful.

after being a customer of salon gold , for almost a decade , I am disgusted at the way they have treated us . Despite having interruption insurance , they refused to pay out during covid. Despite WINNING a court case, which means they have to pay out for us all , they INSIST on not only drawing it out , demanding ridiculous paperwork , the offerings are a pitiful amount . We put ourselves in debt , which we are still paying off for years to come , despite the fact we were COVERED !!! I will never ever go with them again, and I would advise anyone against taking out a policy with salon gold as they do not pay out when your entitled and paid for the correct insurance ! disgusting behaviour

I was a salon gold client for a few years. I expected my insurance to pay out like it said in the policy when Covid hit. Well apparently not if you asked them directly. They provided every excuse possible until there was a court ruling. Absolutely despicable behaviour from a supposed reputable company. Now when they’re agreeing settlements after all the hoops that people have had to jump through to provide evidence of losses you’re still dragging your heels paying out.
Wont ever use you again and I certainly won’t be recommending you to anyone.
You as a company should be ashamed of yourselves for putting salon owners through even more stress to get what is due.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IS MY RECOMMENDATION
