Shocking company. Avoid at all costs. Bought motorhome insurance and was paying monthly. Sold motorhome just over a month later. Called to cancel. At that point I had paid the initial payment plus one DD which, pro-rats, was more than the 33 days of insurance.
They said I still owed even more because hidden within their 42 pages of T&Cs it stated they could claim 75% of an annual premium.
How immoral is that!
I challenged this and they kept reducing their ‘Final settlement offer’ but for me, it was the principle.
They then threatened, and duly sold my £24 debt to a debt collection agency.

After two month I called to cancel my policy and they wanted 260£ extra and the cancellation fee of 25£. I was paying by direct debit and this is the first company charging more than the cancellation fee. Avoid!

I insured my camper for 7 plus years with this company, no problems.
I sold the camper and cancelled the policy...after paying over £430 for the year, six months refund was just over £50.
It was in the smallprint and it was the type of policy.
But its just not right!

Insured our motorhome through scenic, paid monthly, after 4 months of insurance we sold the motorhome, we had to pay £220 cancellation fee, please be mindful of this

I have just been on the website for Scenic insurance and the website would not allow me to enter a vehicle value. I tried the Web Call system and they could not help, they just wanted me to call up to get a quote, I think this is a deliberate ploy to call then up, and the website for a quote is just there for show.

After 1yr of cover(no claims made) we were looking to renew our cover only to receive a letter in the post to say they are unable to insure us after our current policy expires! No changes in our details!?

Don’t bother with this company if you happen to be in the position of paying monthly as when u cancel they will still demand you pay the full amount even though you’ve sold your van and only used a month of insurance.. Disgraceful practice buyer beware!
