You don't even deserve one star. In the The way I have been treated together with my family is unacceptable. We went on a dream vacation to Spain and the last 2 days turned out to be a nightmare. I thought that when buying insurance from you, everything would look completely different. My son caught chickenpox and we were running out of our stay in the current place and We were sent to the new hotel Which was not for children at all. We got a room on the top floor, where the windows did not close and there were beds right under them. As soon as we entered the room, the children jumped in to bed to look from the windows. I have 2 young children who are under 4 and 2 years old and I have reported that my children can fall out of them because the windows are sliding and easy to Slide without any lock protection. Suspect was about 60 meters high. Such small children are hard to trust because we have to limited Trust. They don't understand yet that they can hurt themselves. Every parent knows this. I talked to the hotel manager asking for another room and when I checked the other 2 rooms there was also the same problem with the window and the manager himself admitted that this problem exists in their hotel. I asked for a change the hotel because I couldn't To accept this, something will happen to my children What you did not agree to. 2 The Sad Thing Is I had to buy water separately when I was have Meal Which was supposedly included and when I said that I didn't have the money for it, I was suggest By phone from you to take a glass of water from the toilet And take it to the dining room What crossed the next Line. If I remember correctly, a woman named Carrol did everything and told me that everything was fine and did not listen to my arguments at all, but tried to convince me that I did not need to bother them. I spent 2 and a half days on the phone and asked for some support (help) And each time, no one knew anything. My policy exactly says that I was supposed to have the same or similar standards. Since my policy covers chickenpox My child, why are you said that you couldn't find anything else, that no other hotel wanted to accept him? So why buy a policy from you if you can't guarantee what is included in it?I don't wish anyone the kind of stress that my partner and I went through with these people.

Can't make a claim. The email address they provide doesn't go through. The online claim form won't let you log in. Even though I'm already logged in it wants to re log you in and tell you your password you just used is now incorrect. 5 people in que for chat took two hours to be told I have to call. 1 hour 20 mins later they say I need to do online. I explained what happened and he says bit the link I give you is different. It's not. So they take your money and the. Do not allow you to claim. Thankfully I received a phone call from them yesterday. They were not able to fix it but put me through to a department that was able to take my claim over the phone. A lot of unnecessary stress but they got there in the end and it was very busy.

Absolutely disgrace. I have tried to amend my policy. Can't do it through my account portal, no repluesvto any emails (x4), the online chat does not work. The phones are not being answered. Now I want to cancel this policy as I do not feel this company deserves my custom. Guess what still no joy in getting a response. I will be trying my credit card company to see if they can help get my money back.

Took out holiday insurance,money taken out of my account immediately,
No email confirmation AFTER 5 DAYS,so rang,no answer after an hour,went on to live chat second in the que but 55 mins later no answer,very disappointing will not use this company again.

Absolutely no hesitation at all in whole heartedly recommending Select & Protect Insurance Company…After purchasing holiday insurance for both my Wife and myself I needed to contact them on 2 separate occasions..firstly for some advice and secondly to upgrade my cover,. unfortunately I didn’t take note of the first very very helpful and knowledgeable young lady’s name that I spoke to but do recall the second young lady’s name was Ella who was equally as knowledgeable and provided me with everything that I asked for and more besides.

Jackie from claims contacted me as I asked them to look into my claim which again was declined. Moving the goal post on each time of communicating with them. Be very careful when taking out insurance. I flew back in from JFK on Christmas Day and my luggage was never put on the plane. It finally got delivered 6 days later and my case had been obliterated even the wheels had gone. Axa and Jackie state that you have to go through your airline first!! Joke considering I have taken insurance with Select and Protect and AXA. First goal post, second goal post it only covers you for the journey out. Not coming back!!! So be AWARE as so far they seem to find a clause in each claim your are or think you’re covered for. I do not work in insurance but clearly you have to be to get your head round all of these goal post small print and clauses. Crafty!! Totally unfair……….

Great company to deal with friendly staff, amendment to policy was carried out after making an error, there were no admin fees and communication was great. The only slight downside was the wait time was around 30 minutes to get through, this wasn't a problem for me tho.
