Having been a member of the society for a long time, I have always enjoyed fantastic customer service....
Only yesterday I requested a form to enable me to cash an ISA which unsurprisingly arrived today.
From personal service, to efficiency and friendly staff, Sheffield Mutual is the best finance provider around.

I wish all financial institutions were like Sheffield Mutual. Pick up the phone and call them and you actually get a friendly down to earth real Yorkshire man or lady at the other end of the line. No silly robots or press option whatever pre recorded message. All the staff are very professional, friendly and give you the information you require promptly and correctly. What would take at least an hour with the big banks going through complicated switch boards and listening to robots takes a few minute phone conversation with Sheffield Mutual. Refreshing. Their products are extremely competitive too. I have a TESP and whole of life insurance with them. Highly recommend. Great value products and investments with customer service probably better than Coutts Bank!!!

Very unhelpful when dealing with a deceased members estate. All other societies dealt with no issue, appear to have the computer say no attitude.
Update. Jo please note I am not confused. I have actually saved with this society for over 40years. But on this occasion extremely unhelpful, and due to this will not be re-investing with them.
