I have known Glen at South Woodham Mortgage Solutions for many years now. He got me an amazing rate on my first mortgage in 2020, and has managed to get me a great rate in 2025 when the rates were generally much higher. Glen will always take time to talk to me at weekends and late in the evenings to fit in with my schedule and constantly looks for the best deal for me, despite already agreeing a higher rate previously. Could not speak better of him and his team.

Glen was absolutely fantastic and so helpful in helping us secure our mortgage. Right in the middle of a difficult time of high interest rates he 100% secured us a cheaper mortgage than we could have gotten ourselves. He explained everything to us in 'layman's terms' - being first time buyers we had a lot of questions and a lot of things we simply didn't understand (at all!). Glen broke the whole process down to us, from start to finish. No question was 'silly'. Once we understood the process and let Glen know how we'd like to proceed he literally did all the hard work for us. We only provided him with the documents he needed and he liaised with the lenders and secured the mortgage. Fantastic! Also, very helpfully - he was always available outside of normal business hours. All of our meetings with him were either weekend mornings or weekday evenings after 6pm so didn't interfere with us going to work. Also want to say thanks to Nicola who was also so helpful and so kind alongside the whole process. We couldn't have done it without you both! Would highly recommend to anyone - but particularly first time buyers or those looking to re-mortgage in difficult times.

Can't fault the work of the team over at South Woodham Mortgage Solutions. Glen was extremely helpful throughout the whole process giving us a wide range of different options and taking the time to explain the pros and cons of all options. Honest and genuine throughout and I will definitely be using Glen and the team again!
