I'm a first time glasses wearer and after a very overdue eye test (20 years 🙈) was (somehow) surprised to find out I needed a prescription!

I found booking my appointment online very simple.

What could easily have been an overwhelming experience was made very warm, friendly and informative by all the team members who helped me, with thorough explanations about my variety of options with contact lenses, frames, styles and they were very transparent about pricing and promotional offers. Very patient while helping me decide on a frame style too, but gratefully not afraid to hold back their advice with what they think suits indecisive people like me 😂🙈.

They were able to be very quick with my prescription and I received my glasses only 4 days after my initial appointment!
They were great at communicating with me about updates about my appointment date and time and the arrival of my order. On collection the team made sure my frames were fitted perfectly.

Everyone who helped me from optometrist to front of house staff could not have been more friendly and helpful, thanks everyone!

Great experience today in Specsavers. Booked an appointment online for 8:10 and was seen promptly upon arrival and seated! The waiting room is spacious and open - the consultation rooms are great too with all the modern tools for the check-up

Once completed there are plenty of staff on hand to help choose the new glasses and take the measurements etc

My first visit to this particular store (I have recently relocated) and I was most impressed by the friendly and professional staff throughout the store. In this occasion I didn’t need to change my lenses but the staff were very happy to check my current glasses and adjust them accordingly. From start to finish everything was explained clearly and I was very happy with the service.

All very good ...but don't be sold polarised lenses if your sunglasses are frameless. For many years, this used to be quite possible but it seems that Specsavers can no longer source these from the supplier they currently use.
