Following a leak at my property in Jan 2025 (which caused a fair amount of damage) I was asked by the Insurance Loss Adjuster to provide a couple of quotations for the strip out work and dry out and also for the re-instatement works.
I found Spera Restorations Ltd from a Google search. After I made the initial inquiry, Sam Parker from Spera contacted me and we arranged a date for him to come round to the property to carry out an evaluation of the work required and provide a quotation. I found Sam to be very professional and courteous throughout all my dealings with him.
Spera went to provide very competitive quotation and they won the business. From that point onwards Sam and his team took care of everything and provided updates at every stage of the process. The strip out work and dry out was carried out very thoroughly. Soon after that stage was finished they commenced the re-instatement works which were completed to a very satisfactory standard.
With the assistance of James Taylor in the Spera office taking care of all the administration and material orders and also liaising with me to sort out the financial payments at each stage, the entire process went very smoothly indeed.
Spera made what can be a very stressful period a lot easier to manage and I would recommend them as a company to do business with for anyone who finds themselves in the same situation.

Spera Restorations were contracted by my loss assessor after a big water escape, and were absolutely fantastic. Andreas did most of the work, and he was really helpful, really positive and easy to communicate with, very knowledgeable and very diligent and careful with everything he did. The support team back at base James and Sam communicated really well, and were always available to give updates on progress etc. I felt really comfortable the whole way through, it was great to know they were on the job and that I could get on with my life. Spera managed all the repairs needed in our house after a water leak. The repairs were agreed with and paid for by our insurance. This involved rebuilding one of the kitchen walls, retiling the kitchen floor, adding a double socket in the kitchen to connect fridge and freezer and fully redecorating the hallway, the stairs and the upstairs landing. A new carpet was also fitted to the stairs. Spera managed the project very competently and they were always at hand to answer any queries. We really appreciated the polite and considerate attitude of the people who worked in our house, they made sure they were as little intrusive as possible, putting all tools away and cleaning at the end of each day, so that we had some normality in the evenings. The work was done really well, and we are very pleased with the result! Spera also sourced a specialist to clear the drains for us, when it appeared that a blockage was causing humidity to the kitchen wall and agreed to do some private work for us. Thank you, Spera!
