Stanhope sold me a buildings insurance policy for renovation works, in their youtube video advertising this it specifically mentions helping out with a legal case around building works, how their product saved the day. Unfortunately we were in a situation where we needed to claim and the insurance company cited some small print and refused to claim. They're still advertising on their website that it's important to get renovation insurance because "Things might go wrong during the building works, and your house may become structurally unstable, exposed to the elements, or more vulnerable to theft." - this is exactly what happened to us and our claim was refused.

I contacted several well known companies for a watch insurance quote. Heather from Stanhope telephoned me and discussed my needs and assured me that she would find the best policy from a wide range of underwriters. We agreed to discuss the quote the next morning and true to her word she telephoned right on time. The policy i agreed to was not the cheapest, i could have gone elsewhere and saved around £100 but i agreed to use Stanhope because of Heather. She was polite, courteous but more important she was patient when listening to my needs. Customer service is very important to me as i want to communicate with the same person not a call center who to them I'm just a number on a file. I sadly had to make a claim at the beginning of March 2024. From first speaking to Stanhope claims dept to receiving my hand made replacement bracelet (25th April) their service has been second to none. My bracelet is absolutely superb and am looking forward to wearing it with confidence.
