Helen didn't come back to us but instead she immediately told the developer that we couldn't afford to buy and we almost lost our reservation for this.

There are a lot of scare stories out there about the difficulty of getting a mortgage, but Helen kept me sane and secured a deal I never thought possible. They discussed the methods of compiling savings accounts towards the deposit, value of deposit required per mortgage and relative to each house which I was looking at. When finally deciding the mortgage, the options for monthly payments were clearly explained, and how each option could be handled over my fixed period.
